Congratulations!  You've customized your AccountEdge system.  Keep in mind that you can use AccountEdge's Preferences window, opened from the Setup menu at the top of your computer screen, to change any selections you've made in this section.

In AccountEdge, you can choose whether you want to view Help from the Internet, or locally on your computer.  If you mark the option below, your computer must be connected to the Internet if you wish to view help topics in the MYOB Learning Center.

In AccountEdge, you can choose whether or not you want to view report options immediately before printing or displaying a report.  You can also select the method of aging when analyzing Receivables and Payables.

The Contact Log is a tool you can use to keep track of the people you conduct business with.  You can choose to have AccountEdge automatically make an entry in the Contact Log each time you write a check, make a deposit, or enter a sale or purchase.

AccountEdge's To Do List is an interactive set of reminders of your regular business activities.  In this step, you can choose to open the To Do List immediately each time you start AccountEdge, to quickly see which tasks you need to perform.

AccountEdge provides a variety of features that will help you to protect your company's accounting records.  If the boxes below are marked, these features will be already set up for you.

You can choose whether your transactions can be changed after you enter them into the AccountEdge system.  If the box below is marked, your transactions are set up so they can't be changed after you enter them.

If you have a foreign bank account or make sales or purchases in a different currency other than your local, check the box below. Be sure to read the on-line help on how this preference will affect the way you use AccountEdge.

AccountEdge's Easy-Fill feature recognizes the entry you're making and fills in the rest for you.  Expandable Fields allow you to view longer entries in their entirety.
